King Wai Group (Thailand) Public Company Limited, led by Mr. Antonio Hang Tat Chan, Vice Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, initiated “KWG Happiness Sharing CSR activity” for the underprivileged students of Wat Lad Sai School, Lam Sai Subdistrict, Wang Noi District, Ayutthaya Province.
The school has 282 students (from kindergarten 1 to elementary grade 6), 80% of the students are indigent. The school and children are in the shortage of educational equipment and necessities for living.  The school buildings, especially nursing rooms which are very old, dilapidated, dangerous to use, and unhygienic. 

 

King Wai Group has therefore provided support to the school. The company donated 100,000 baht to renovate the dilapidated nursing room. The renovation already completed in early February 2021.  Meanwhile, the donation boxes were placed to collect the educational equipment, used items in a good condition at KWG head office, KWI head office, the Villa Arcadia Srinakarin, W Villa by KWG Watcharapol, and the Empire Tower, Sathon. All the donated items were hands on to Mr. Suwimon Plueangkrathok, the Director of Wat Lad Sai School, to distribute to all students onwards. 

                   





On March 12, 2021, the management and all KWG & KWI staff joined KWG Happiness Sharing activity at the school to hand over the nursing room and give lunch to all children. The activity was joined by Mr. Songsak Lerkkasem, the Chief Administrator of Lam Sai Sub-district Administrative Organization.  In the event, Mr. Antonio said that King Wai group heartily values giving back to society, particularly in improving education and children's development. Youths are the future of the country. Education is essential for children’s development to grow up with quality. In addition, the children will learn the value of sharing from the event.
