“King Wai Insurance” supports FC Bangkok sending youth football teams win the “Helsinki Cup 2019” in Finland

King Wai Insurance are the major supporter of FC Bangkok youth football team, the only representative from Asia, aged 10-15 years, to Helsinki Cup 2019 in Helsinki, Finland, during this 6-14 July. For this trip, FC Bangkok International Academy sent three teams of almost 50 young players between the ages of 10 and 15 years.
The outstanding performance of the three teams was the 10 years old (2009) team that successfully won the Helsinki Cup. They were undefeated in 10 games over 6 days with 24 goals for and only 2 goals against. In the Grand Final they won 3 – nil and completed an unbelievable season as Asian (winning the Singapore JSSL Cup for 2nd year in a row) and becoming the Helsinki Cup European champions. The team was coached by Nick Howliston who has developed a great group of young players that have won four major Asian / European tournaments in 2 years. The team was 11 talented players and was captained by Jory Schneider.
